Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

Over 72 Hours Prior to Charter

100% Refund

Entitlement: Full refund excluding service charges

Processing Duration: 5-7 working days

Service Charge: €50 for credit card payments

Prerequisites: Must be submitted in written form through email or by phone

24 to 72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Entitlement: Half of the total charter cost

Processing Duration: 7-10 working days

Service Charge: A deduction of €25 from the refund

Prerequisites: Justifiable reason necessary; administrative costs are applicable

Less Than 24 Hours Prior to Charter

No Refund

Entitlement: Not eligible for a refund

Exclusions: Extenuating circumstances might be taken into account

Alternative: A charter credit could be offered at the discretion of management

Prerequisites: Proof is necessary for emergency situations

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

At the forefront is safety. Should weather conditions be assessed as perilous for charter operations by our authorized captain, we present adaptable resolutions:

  • Complete Refund: If rearranging is unfeasible, a full refund is provided
  • Reschedule: Change the charter to an upcoming available slot at zero extra charge
  • Charter Credit: Get a credit note valid for one year from your initial charter date

Weather Evaluation Procedure

Our weather evaluation comprises:

  • Scrutinizing wind forces and trajectories
  • Inspecting wave sizes and sea conditions
  • Reviewing forecasts for visibility and rainfall
  • Heeding Coast Guard bulletins and alerts
  • Expert captain's safety judgment

Decision-Making Timeline: Deliberations on weather-induced cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the planned departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Extraordinary Circumstances

Acknowledging that medical crises can occur abruptly, the following conditions may warrant exceptional consideration:

  • Unexpected disease or injury that necessitates hospitalization
  • A close relative's demise
  • Military duties or urgent recall
  • Jury service or legal summons
  • Natural disasters impeding travel

Proof Requirements

For emergency refund applications, kindly provide:

  • Documentation from medical institutions or a medical certificate
  • A death certificate, if applicable
  • Official military instructions
  • Legal subpoenas or notices of jury duty
  • Emergency declarations or travel cautions

Execution: Requests for emergency refunds are addressed within 3-5 business days post receipt of the required proof.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Difficulties

If your allocated yacht is hindered by mechanical complications that remain unresolved:

  • Substitute Vessel: Our goal is to offer a comparable replacement
  • Complete Refund: If no suitable alternative is present
  • Partial Refund: Adjusted refund if the alternative has a different rate
  • Compensation: Extra accommodation might be arranged for the trouble caused

Unavailability of Crew

In the rare event that a certified crew member is unreachable:

  • An alternate crew will be sought if doable
  • A full refund if we fail to proceed with the charter
  • An opportunity to reschedule without extra costs

Refund Processing

Reimbursement Modality

Refunds will be reversed to the initial payment method used during the reservation:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

A €50 fee applies to cancellations made more than 72 hours before the charter date

Bank Transfer Charges

Refunds initiated through bank transfers incur a €25 fee

International Transactions

Extra charges may be associated with international payments

Charter Credits

Credit Issuance Situations

In certain scenarios, charter credits may be extended instead of cash refunds:

  • Late cancellations within 24 hours of the charter
  • Cancellations due to adverse weather
  • Voluntary requests for charter rescheduling
  • Operational disturbances

Credit Stipulations

  • Legitimacy: Credits are valid for a year following issuance
  • Transferrability: Credits cannot be exchanged with other customers
  • Worth: The full charter cost, exempt from processing charges
  • Application: Credits can be used for any forthcoming charters
  • Expiry: Extensions beyond 12 months are not permissible

Partial Service Refunds

Interrupted Services

If charter services are disrupted or curtailed due to factors within our realm of control:

  • Refund proportionate to the unutilized duration of the charter
  • Vouchers for future charters of equivalent value
  • Complimentary upgrades or added services

Disturbances Brought by Guests

If a charter is halted prematurely due to the misconduct or breach of safety by the passengers:

  • No reimbursement for the remaining period
  • Full charges are enforced
  • Possible supplementary fees

Dispute Handling

If there is a contention regarding a refund provided, the customer has the right to:

  • Demand a reevaluation by our executive team
  • Submit further documents or proof
  • Petition to consumer advocacy groups
  • Look for legal resolutions within the scope of current laws
